"I inquired of my sister, Meg to tell me if she'd been treated in one manner when she went walking around with our parents and in a different manner in the time she was by herself without them. Meg responded "Oh Yes, all the moment!" That made me realize that I was so ignorant," Heigl said to her parents. She said that she was frustrated and thought it was important to focus her anger towards helping the adopted children she has. Sheigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr., 4, have been together for thirteen years. Their child Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009. Adalaide is an Black 8-year old girl that they adopted in 2012.
